Terms of Service

The rules and conditions for using ConceptNet's tools and services.

Summary: Use our tools fairly and lawfully. Don't misuse or reverse-engineer them. The sandbox and open-source classifier are free to use under the MIT licence. Enterprise services are subject to a separate agreement. We're not liable for issues arising from your use of the tools.

1. Who We Are

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ConceptNet Ltd's products, services, and websites, including conceptnet.co.uk, the Voice IP Sandbox, the benchmarks platform, and the open-source classifier ("Services").

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and ConceptNet Ltd.

3. The Services

3.1 Voice IP Sandbox

The Voice IP Sandbox (conceptnet.co.uk/sandbox/) is a free, browser-based tool that classifies enterprise voice commands into intent layers. It runs entirely in your browser — no data is transmitted to our servers. You may use it for personal evaluation, commercial testing, and demonstration purposes.

3.2 Open-Source Software

The ConceptNet intent classifier and related code at github.com/wushu75/ConceptNet is released under the MIT Licence. You are free to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and/or sell copies of the software, subject to the MIT Licence terms included in the repository.

3.3 Early Access Programme

If you sign up for early access, we may contact you to participate in our beta programme. Early access is provided "as is" and may be withdrawn at any time. We may ask for feedback as a condition of participation.

3.4 Enterprise Services

Enterprise deployments of ConceptNet are subject to a separate Enterprise Agreement. Contact tonymomoh@icloud.com to discuss enterprise terms.

5.1 ConceptNet's IP

All content on conceptnet.co.uk, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, the Voice IP Stacking model, the 4-layer intent classification system, and proprietary datasets, is the intellectual property of ConceptNet Ltd unless otherwise noted. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

5.2 Open-Source Code

The open-source code at github.com/wushu75/ConceptNet is licenced under the MIT Licence. You are free to use it per the terms of that licence.

5.3 Your Content

Any commands you type or speak into the Voice IP Sandbox are processed entirely in your browser and are never received by ConceptNet. We do not claim any rights over the commands you enter.

If you submit content via forms (early access, investment inquiries), you grant us a licence to use that content for the purpose of responding to your submission.

Our Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ConceptNet Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of our Services.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of our Services shall not exceed £100.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ConceptNet Ltd and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

Our Services may contain links to third-party websites (GitHub, Hugging Face, LinkedIn, etc.). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of those sites. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk.

10. Changes to the Services

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our Services at any time without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our Services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining Terms remain in full force and effect.
